After the protest of Heera Group investors Break on ED action, reached Supreme Court to seek clear instructions

New Delhi, September 13, 2025 (News Report: Press Release) – The company investors raised a flag of protest against the auction of the properties of Heera Group of Companies by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) without trial and without judicial hearing, and said that it is wrong, illegal and illegal that the Supreme Court had ordered that the ED and SFIO should proceed under the PMLA Act, but the Enforcement Directorate started auctioning the properties of Heera Group in violation of the Supreme Court order, in response to which the Heera Group investors had exposed the arbitrariness of the ED and the conspiracy to break up and liquidate a big company by attracting the attention of the top officials of the country through tweets and correspondence. An investor, Mutiur Rehman Aziz and a journalist by profession, had approached government officials and judicial authorities like the Hon. Droupadi Murmu has written to senior officials like President of the Republic, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Chief Justice of India Bhushan Ramakrishna Goyal, informing them that the Enforcement Directorate is bent on illegally auctioning the properties of the Heera Group at exorbitant prices. This move by the ED shows that it has become a tool of land mafias and conspirators, and is destroying the rights of 170,000 investors by targeting less than 1,000 deceived investors. In this way, not only will crores of families behind lakhs of investors become helpless and forced, but also the country will be weakened by destroying a company that pays hundreds of crores of rupees in income tax to the country. The letter to senior government officials recommended focusing on three things. The first of which was that to increase the number and amount of money that people have complained to the agencies, an individual and his capital have been counted two, three, four, five times. The second demand in the letter was that only one percent of the total number is expressing its distrust in the company, and that no attempt should be made to break the company and weaken the country based on this small number. The third demand was that the Hera Group of Companies, which had been living within the law for twenty years and had not only been benefiting investors but also strengthening the country through income tax, should be exposed for its conspiracy to destroy it and weaken the country. Therefore, after this protest of the investors and the correspondence of journalist Mutiur Rehman Aziz, the Prime Minister and his office as well as the Finance Ministry have intervened and assured an immediate investigation. On the one hand, the Prime Minister has forwarded the letter to the ED to investigate these things and on the other hand, he has assured an officer of the PMO to investigate in this regard. On the same subject, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman ji’s office has also assured to take appropriate action.

The investors, who are said to be around 170,000 in number, have termed the ED’s action as a ‘tool of the land mafia and conspirators’. They say that the ED has started auctioning properties at exorbitant prices in violation of the Supreme Court’s directions, due to which the rights of lakhs of investors and crores of their families are being lost. One investor, Mutiur Rehman Aziz (a journalist by profession), led this campaign. He attracted the attention of the country’s top officials through posts and letters on Twitter (x). Mutiur Rahman wrote letters to Hon’ble Draupadi Murmu (President), Narendra Modi (Prime Minister), Amit Shah (Home Minister), Nirmala Sitharaman (Finance Minister), Arjun Ram Meghwal (Law Minister), Rahul Gandhi (Leader of Opposition), and Justice Bhushan Ramakrishna Goyal (Chief Justice of India). The letters stressed three main demands: In the complaints given to the agencies, one individual and his capital were counted multiple times, which made the figures exaggerated. The actual victims who were misled are less than a thousand. Out of a total of one lakh seventy thousand investors, only 1% have shown a forced distrust in the company. Breaking up the company on the basis of this small number will weaken the country’s economy. The Heera Group had been operating within the ambit of the law for 20 years, giving profits to investors, and has given billions of rupees to the country through income tax. Targeting it as a conspiracy is anti-national.

Soon after the investors protested and the letters from Motiur Rahman, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and the Finance Ministry intervened. Prime Minister Narendra Modi forwarded the letter to the ED and ordered an immediate investigation, while a senior PMO officer was assigned to oversee it.
