New Delhi (News Report: Matiur Rahman Aziz) – From the very beginning, Asad Owaisi and his AIMIM party members have been heard saying that if Hira Group gets relief from one place, an FIR will be filed from another place; and if relief is obtained from that place, then a third FIR will be filed. In this way, the CEO of Heera Group, Aalima Dr. Nowhera Shaik, will be dragged around the country for a lifetime. Eventually, after Owaisi himself suffered a crushing defeat in the FIR he filed in 2012, he now appears to be working on a new pattern. He appointed one of his party workers, Shahbaz Ahmed Khan, to file FIRs in every corner of the country. And that is exactly what is happening—Shahbaz Ahmed Khan is using Heera Group investors as bait to serve Asad Owaisi’s political and interest-based business agenda.
Shahbaz Ahmed Khan, considered very close to Asad Owaisi, has been traveling across the country at his own expense to mislead Heera Group investors and lure them with money to file FIRs. He claims that filing an FIR will help them get their money back. Yet in 2012, Asad Owaisi himself filed an FIR and tasted a humiliating defeat. So on what proof and basis will AIMIM and Shahbaz Ahmed Khan claim victory over Heera Group and its CEO, Aalima Dr. Nowhera Shaik? Especially when barrister Asad Owaisi himself lost his own case against Heera Group in 2016 and, in retaliation, had to face a 100-crore defamation case. According to details, Asad Owaisi filed an FIR in 2012 based on suspicion and demanded a thorough investigation of Hira Group. As a result, Heera Group had to go through a difficult and troubling investigation process. But due to its strong evidence and solid foundation, Heera Group won the case filed by Owaisi, and Owaisi had to face defeat. Following this, Owaisi formulated a new strategy and assigned his party worker Shahbaz Ahmed Khan to pursue Heera Group and support actions against it. AIMIM’s Shahbaz Ahmed Khan began misleading the public against Heera Group of Companies, telling people to file FIRs against the company. Before this, some fake investors were added to the company, and FIRs were initiated through them. By creating such an atmosphere, the company was eventually sealed, and claims were made that if cases were filed against Heera Group, investors would get their money back within three days. Thus, with Owaisi’s backing, investors were misled, and cases continued to be filed against the company.
The objective was to weaken a Muslim economic institution and an interest-free business model, undermine Heera Group, and simultaneously strengthen his own politically driven, interest-based financial ventures. Owaisi’s personal rivalry and hostility resulted in Heera Group’s Muslim economic model being harmed and innocent investors being used as bait. Hira Group of Companies, known as a “Halal Investment” company, and its CEO Aalima Dr. Nowhera Shaik have been facing legal challenges for several years. The company was established in 1998 and operated in gold trading, real estate, and various other sectors. However, after multiple complaints were filed in 2018, Nowhera Shaik was arrested, and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) launched an investigation.
In this controversy, the name of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi repeatedly appears. Owaisi is accused of filing an FIR against Heera Group in 2012, which later failed in court. After this defeat, it is alleged that Owaisi began using his party worker Shahbaz Ahmed Khan to file numerous FIRs across the country, with the intention of weakening Heera Group and harassing its CEO. In 2012, Asaduddin Owaisi filed FIR No. 154/2012 against Hira Group, accusing the company of fraud and illegal financial activities. However, Hira Group presented its evidence and won the case in court. Owaisi had to face defeat, which damaged his political and legal reputation. Nowhera Shaik later alleged that the FIR was filed due to political rivalry and that Owaisi’s intention was to target a Muslim businesswoman’s company. She claimed that Owaisi and his party members harmed her image and played a role in sending her to jail. In a 2021 interview, she stated, “I went to jail because of Owaisi.”
After this defeat, it is alleged that Owaisi adopted a new strategy—filing multiple FIRs across the country to trap Hira Group in legal complications. This strategy is described as “if relief is obtained from one place, file another FIR elsewhere,” aimed at keeping Nowhera Shaik continuously entangled in legal troubles. AIMIM worker Shahbaz Ahmed Khan is said to be the central figure in this campaign. It is alleged that he traveled across the country gathering investors, promising them refunds, and encouraging them to file FIRs against Heera Group. For example, in 2018, under Shahbaz’s leadership, more than 200 investors filed complaints, which led to the arrest of Nowhera Shaik.
