Two accused named Aqeel and Muneeb arrested for trespassing; FIR registered
Bengaluru (Karnataka) – 25 December 2025 In a sensational incident in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, two alleged hooligans forcibly entered Hira Group Mart. The police acted swiftly, arrested both accused, and registered a case. According to sources, the accused have been identified as Aqeel alias Rashid and Abdullah alias Muneeb. Both are reportedly known criminal elements from Shimoga city in Karnataka. The incident occurred at Hira Group Mall (Mart), a commercial establishment, where the accused Aqeel alias Rashid and Abdullah alias Muneeb allegedly issued threats and possibly attempted robbery or fraud. Details that have emerged so far indicate that the accused entered Hira Group Mall Mart by posing as Enforcement Directorate (ED) officers and intimidated the staff at gunpoint, forcing them to leave the premises. When information about the incident reached Hira Group CEO Dr. Noheera Shaikh, police action was initiated, and the miscreants along with their associates were removed from the premises. Based on video footage and eyewitness statements, the police arrived at the spot and took the accused into custody. An FIR has been registered and further investigation is underway. According to preliminary information, the incident may be linked to financial robbery, extortion, blackmailing, or a local gang rivalry, as Hira Group Mart is a well-known business organization involved in commercial activities. A video related to the incident has been circulating on social media and was uploaded on the YouTube channel “Mutiur Rahman Aziz.” The video provides details of the incident, with descriptions available in three languages—English, Urdu, and Hindi. Within a few hours of being uploaded, the video garnered thousands of views.
Local police officials stated that strict measures are being taken to prevent crime in the city and that a zero-tolerance policy is being adopted against such elements. The owners of the affected mart have not yet released any official statement, but sources claim that business operations are continuing as usual. This incident raises concerns about the increasing activities of criminal elements in Bengaluru, where several similar incidents have been reported over the past few months. Police have appealed to the public to immediately report any suspicious activity. Further details regarding Aqeel alias Rashid and Abdullah alias Muneeb reveal that they are miscreants from Shimoga, Karnataka, who initially entered Hira Group by changing their names to secure employment. Later, through deception, they obtained additional responsibilities. From the very beginning, their intentions were viewed as suspicious; however, due to concerns about public perception, no immediate action was taken against them. The company’s suspicions intensified when Aqeel alias Rashid and Abdullah alias Muneeb began asking other staff members for details and photocopies of company properties. Subsequently, the company issued warnings and terminated their association. After their removal, incidents of blackmailing, issuing threats, and attempting to implicate the company through false cases reportedly increased. Their intrusion into Hira Group properties was not a first-time occurrence. Earlier, they had allegedly entered the homes of Hira Group family members, abducted them, and held them hostage. Considering these acts as initial mischief and immaturity, the matter was forgiven at that time. However, a subsequent similar incident was carried out at Bilqis Manzil, the private residence of the Hira Group CEO, where Aqeel alias Rashid and Abdullah alias Muneeb allegedly arrived with dozens of goons. They reportedly used force against security guards and staff to gain access to the CEO’s private residence and vaults. It is further alleged that Aqeel alias Rashid and Abdullah alias Muneeb demanded approximately INR 10 crore from the Hira Group CEO under the pretext of developing software. This demand is described as an act of blackmail and deception, as the accused allegedly lack the expertise required to develop software worth crores of rupees. The demand for INR 10 crore is reportedly linked to a stolen cheque taken from the Hira Group office during the collection of documents. The total number of such cheques is said to be 19. In conclusion, individuals like Aqeel alias Rashid and Abdullah alias Muneeb are portrayed as miscreants attempting to carry out a major robbery at a young age, showing no apparent fear of the country’s law and administrative authorities.
