Heera Group Investors Write to Top Officials

Protest Against Enforcement Directorate’s Illegal Auction

New Delhi (News Report: Matiur Rehman Aziz) – Investors of Heera Group of Companies have written a detailed letter to the top officials of the country expressing their serious concerns against the alleged illegal auction of the company’s properties and the actions taken without a court trial by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The investors have made an urgent appeal for justice to the President, Chief Justice of India, Prime Minister, Home Minister, Finance Minister, Law Minister, and Leader of the Opposition. They demand that the arbitrary actions of the ED be stopped and the rights of millions of investors, who have been associated with Heera Group for years, be protected. Background of Heera Group and its achievements Heera Group of Companies has earned the trust of millions of investors with its stellar performance over the last 25 years. Heera Group of Companies has not only contributed to the economic development of the country but has also taken several steps for the welfare of the poor, orphans, widows and the weaker sections. The company’s CEO Dr. Nowhera Sheikh has been praised for her social services and role in the economic development of the country. However, according to the investors, some anti-social elements conspired against the company, as a result of which it faced legal proceedings and investigations. The letter said that despite no concrete evidence being found against Heera Group, the company’s CEO was arrested and extensive investigations were conducted across the country. The investors claim that all this is part of an organized conspiracy, which is aimed at stopping the growth of Heera Group and damaging the confidence of its investors.
The investors clarified in their letter that the Supreme Court had ordered the Heera Group case to be taken forward through a trial in the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court. However, in blatant violation of this order, the ED started auctioning the properties of Heera Group at low prices without any case or trial in the PMLA court. Investors say that this action is not only illegal but is also causing serious damage to the financial interests of lakhs of investors. They alleged that by selling the properties at exorbitant prices by the ED, not only the investors of the company but also the complainants will not be able to get their legitimate rights. The letter said that these arbitrary actions of the ED are against the basic principles of justice and are raising questions on the rule of law in the country. The investors have raised several important points in their letter, including the following. The investors alleged that the number and amount of complainants have been exaggerated by including the name of the same person two to four times in the lists submitted by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO). They demanded that a complete and transparent investigation be conducted so that the truth comes out.
The investors said that there are about one lakh plus thousand investors associated with the Heera Group, out of which only two to three thousand people have filed complaints. The remaining lakhs of investors have been with the company and have trusted it for years. They said that it is unfair to punish the entire company and its investors based on the complaints of a few people. The investors claimed that an organized conspiracy has been hatched against the Heera Group, and there are dozens of proofs of this. They said that some anti-social elements are unhappy with the development and prosperity of the country and they are trying to thwart institutions like the Heera Group in order to harm the economic development of the country. The investors stressed that no action should proceed without a fair trial in the PMLA court. They said that auctioning properties without a trial will destroy the lives of lakhs of investors, and this is against the requirements of justice.
In their letter, the investors appealed to the President, Chief Justice of India, Prime Minister, Home Minister, Finance Minister, Law Minister, and Leader of the Opposition to use their power and authority to stop the illegal activities of the ED. They said that Heera Group and its CEO Dr. Nowhera Sheikh have dedicated their lives for the development of the country and the welfare of the weaker sections. They have rendered selfless service to the poor, orphans, widows and the elderly, and their company has played a significant role in the economic prosperity of the country. The investors demanded that the officials conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the matter, stop the arbitrary actions of the ED, and ensure a fair trial in the PMLA court. They said that this would not only protect the rights of millions of investors but would also make the country proud at the global level.
