Despite clear and favorable orders from the Supreme Court and the High Court affirming Heera Group’s legal possession of the land, illegal activities and encroachments continue to threaten their property. Dr. Shaik revealed that on multiple occasions, including a recent attack on 13th January 2024, unknown individuals have violently trespassed on their property, causing harm and engaging in unauthorized construction. The Heera Group has taken all necessary legal steps to reclaim and secure their land as per the court orders, including the Supreme Court’s demarcation directives. Emphasizing the need for immediate and stringent action, Dr. Shaik urged the authorities to intervene and protect their rights and property. She also called upon the media and public to support their cause and recognize the challenges they face due to these unlawful activities. Hyderabad, 1st July 2024 – Heera Retail (Hyderabad) Pvt. Ltd. Has faced a series of tumultuous events and legal battles surrounding its land acquisition, marking a complex narrative of conspiracy, legal victories, and recent unlawful encroachments. Below is a comprehensive account of the incidents, legal proceedings, and the current situation that calls into question whether Heera Group is a victim or a culprit.

Incident Overview and Timeline: December 2015: Heera Retail (Hyderabad) Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Heera Group, purchased a piece of land from S.A. Builders and Developers.

October 2018:The company’s CEO, Dr. Nowhera Shaik, was arrested in a conspiracy allegedly orchestrated by land grabbers, the land mafia, and local police officials. This arrest was a significant blow to the company and led to further complications.

November 2018: Seeking justice, Heera Group approached the court and was granted a favorable order by the High Court for the State of Telangana at Hyderabad on 23rd December 2019, affirming the legality of their land purchase.

August 2019: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) attached the land in question, adding another layer of complexity to the ongoing legal battles.

January 2021: After being granted bail, Dr. Nowhera Shaik returned to oversee the properties and, following a Supreme Court order, maintained peaceful possession of the land.

5th December 2022: The Honorable Supreme Court ordered the demarcation of the property to clearly establish the boundaries and resolve ongoing disputes.

25th January 2023: The demarcation was carried out by the Deputy Director of Survey and Land Records, as per Lr. No A5/39/2023, dated 25/01/2023, and the Collector of Hyderabad District, Lr. No. B2/156/2023, dated 24/01/2023.

4th January 2023: In compliance with the Supreme Court’s order, a detailed demarcation survey was conducted by the Deputy Director of Survey and Land Records, in the presence of officials from the Revenue Department, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), and with police protection.

13th January 2024: On the night of 13th January 2024, a violent attack was carried out by a group of unknown individuals who arrived in two trucks. The attackers pelted stones at Heera Group’s security personnel and assaulted them with rods and belts. Some attackers were suspected to be armed. They broke several locks and forcibly brought women onto the property to further complicate the situation. This incident was reported to Filmnagar PS via FIR No. 35/2024, dated 13-01-2024.

5th February 2024: The Telangana High Court, under Honourable Shri Justice C.V. Bhaskar Reddy in Writ Petition No. 2773 of 2024, ordered a probe into area police officers and upheld the peaceful possession of Heera Group’s land.

26th June 2024: Heera Group discovered that unknown individuals had unlawfully occupied portions of their land and were engaging in unauthorized construction activities. During a site visit, the Heera Group team faced threats and antisocial behavior from these encroachers, which was promptly reported to the authorities by dialling 100.
