Dr. Nowhera Shaik Accuses Hyderabad Police of Harassment, Cites Political Conspiracy
New Delhi/ Hyderabad, – Dr. Nowhera Shaik, the founder and CEO of Heera Group, has alleged that she is facing targeted harassment by the Hyderabad Police under political pressure, despite multiple court rulings in her favor. In a letter addressed to the Director General of Police (DGP) Telangana, Dr. Nowhera Shaik has detailed what she describes as a systematic campaign to tarnish her reputation, disrupt her business, and deny her rightful property ownership. Dr. Shaik has accused the police, particularly DCP West Zone S.M. Vijay Kumar, SHO Banjara Hills, and SHO Film Nagar, of illegally registering FIRs against her in violation of Supreme Court and Telangana High Court orders. She claims that these actions are being orchestrated by AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi and his associates for political and financial gain. She further alleged that the police have been acting as tools of political vendetta rather than upholding the rule of law. In her complaint, she stated, “Despite clear and favorable orders from Hon’ble Supreme Court and High Courts, the lack of order enforcement has compounded the challenges faced by the company. Repeated efforts to address encroachment and unlawful activities have been met with resistance and apparent bias from local authorities.”She further claimed that she was unlawfully arrested and mistreated by police officials. “Despite being a woman entrepreneur trading since 1998 and among the highest taxpayers in India, I was arrested without proper inquiry….. During the flight, I was misbehaved with, subjected to inhumane treatment, and coerced into signing documents under the threat of death.”The complaint also details the encroachment on her property and the inaction of the authorities. “Shortly after this FIR, we received information that illegal construction had begun on our property. I visited the site to intervene and stop the unlawful activity and immediately dialed 100 for police assistance. Upon arrival, I was surprised to find the investigating officer Mr. Ganesh (senior inspector) from the local police station present at the site. Despite presenting the title documents to prove my rightful ownership and requesting help to prevent the illegal construction, the officer dismissed my concerns and ordered me to leave the premises.” Dr. Shaik, who has been a leading entrepreneur since 1998. She alleges that her company’s growth has been deliberately sabotaged through false cases and media propaganda.
