Delay in payment of investors’ money seems to be the aim

New Delhi (Release: Report by Matiur Rehman Aziz) Dozens of questions are being raised by the arrest of scholar Dr. Nowhera Sheikh by CCS Hyderabad, in which some important concerns are being tried to be presented in this report. The first question is that by arresting the CEO of Heera Group, what miracle does the department want to perform that was not being achieved by recovering Dr. Nowhera Sheikh. The second question is that issuing a non-bailable warrant a month before the direction given by the Supreme Court and laboriously going from one city to a distant city to arrest him, and taking action on an FIR for which money had already been paid and bail had already been available on the said FIR, and still taking action and sending him behind bars, indicates that there is an indication of working under the shadow of some special factors. The third question arises that the fact that five lands were given under the auspices of the ED to pay money to the investors of the Heera Group of Companies on the instructions of the Supreme Court and the continuation of the proceedings, despite this, arrests raise dozens of questions on the department, which are still unanswered.
According to the details, on May 27, 2025, the CEO of Heera Group of Companies, Dr. Nowhera Sheikh, was forcibly arrested from the outskirts of Delhi. While the CEO was busy in the effort to deposit Rs 25 crore on the instructions of the Supreme Court, there was still a month left for the Supreme Court to complete its term, despite this, she was arrested by bringing an order from the Nampally Court in Hyderabad. While on the one hand, the money had been paid to the complaining investor in exchange for the FIR on which the arrest was made four years ago, and in addition, bail had already been available on the said FIR, but what was the hurry of the department that it found it difficult to wait for the 90 days given by the Supreme Court and Dr. Nowhera Sheikh was arrested without any delay, while on the other hand, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) was continuing the action on the five most expensive lands of the Heera Group centrally. The current arrest operation by the Hyderabad CCS raises several concerns, firstly that the CCS is very keen and active to cover up any of its mistakes and shortcomings, fearing that the recovery of Dr. Nowhera Sheikh will expose some of its affairs, or it is seen to be acting on a target given by a specific person such as a land mafia, or a corrupt leader. Thirdly, the department was worried that thousands of millions of investors associated with the Hera Group would not be paid. The fact that the CCS took the matter into its own hands despite the Supreme Court hearing the Hera Group case is clear evidence that the CCS was in a purposeful hurry, due to which it had to take action despite dozens of corruptions and misdeeds. In short, the narrowing of the circle of Heera Group by CCS and the arrest of CEO Dr. Nowhera Sheikh requires that the CCS and other departments will now succeed in paying the money of those investors who were not getting paid earlier, and especially the money will definitely be paid to those Heera Group investors who have gone to court and especially to the investors who have gone to SFIO. But the way the steps have been taken by the CCS and the department makes it clear that the arrest was made in the middle of the Supreme Court proceedings out of fear that no solution would be found to pay the money to the Heera Group investors. Therefore, now that CEO Dr. Nowhera Sheikh has been arrested, the CCS will also have to provide clear evidence that the arrest was purposeful and not to fulfill the purpose of some land mafia and corrupt leader.
