In Hyderabad, the togetherness of Asad Owaisi, Syed Akhtar, and Abdul RahimThe Ruthless Suppression of 3.5 Million Muslims’ Livelihoods Nationwide

New Delhi (Release: Mutiur Rahman Aziz) The case of the Heera Group of Companies in the country is no secret to any discerning individual. By entangling matters with the help of courts and agencies, those imposing restrictions on the livelihood of 3.5 million Muslims were revealed when I toured Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. During my stay in Hyderabad, I spoke with the local people, surveyed the properties of the Heera Group submitted in the Supreme Court, and visited the locations involved. Some startling truths emerged. As a journalist, I have always refrained from keeping any informative trust to myself. Therefore, placing this truth in the court of public opinion and exposing the intentions behind these three names and the motives hidden behind them is my duty. If Asad Owaisi, Syed Akhtar, and his son-in-law Abdul Rahim disagree with my statement, they can undoubtedly drag me to court to unveil these truths. Upon investigation, it was found that the Heera Group of Companies purchased a large tract of land at a cost of 1.5 billion rupees from Syed Akhtar, an SA builder, in 2015 at SA Colony, Toli Chowki, near Seven Tombs. However, since land mafias often have good connections with local leaders, these connections, along with the involvement of corrupt officers, were used to carry out their nefarious plans. The Heera Group, a notable entity in the business world, has been embroiled in controversies and legal battles that have significantly impacted the livelihoods of millions of Muslims in India.

This group, led by Nowhera Shaik, attracted a large number of investors, primarily from the Muslim community, with promises of high returns. However, allegations of fraud and mismanagement led to numerous legal issues, resulting in the freezing of assets and a severe blow to the financial stability of many of its investors. During my investigative tour, I found that the local population in Hyderabad, as well as in the neighboring states of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, were severely affected by the legal entanglements of the Heera Group. The promised returns on their investments were never realized, leaving many in financial distress. The situation was exacerbated by the involvement of influential figures such as Asad Owaisi, Syed Akhtar, and Abdul Rahim, whose roles in this saga have come under scrutiny. In Hyderabad, the local people shared their grievances and the extent of their financial losses. The survey of the Heera Group’s properties, as documented in the Supreme Court, revealed a complex web of transactions and acquisitions. One significant acquisition was a vast tract of land purchased in 2015 from Syed Akhtar for a staggering 1.5 billion rupees. This land, located in the strategic area of SA Colony, Toli Chowki near Seven Tombs, was meant for significant development projects. However, the involvement of local land mafias, who had strong connections with political leaders and corrupt officers, derailed these plans. These elements worked in tandem to exploit the situation, further complicating the legal and financial landscape for the Heera Group and its investors. As a journalist, it is my responsibility to bring these truths to light. The intricate connections between local leaders, land mafias, and corrupt officers have created a scenario where the genuine investors and stakeholders of the Heera Group are left in a lurch. The revelations from my investigation highlight the urgent need for transparency and accountability in this matter. It is crucial for the public to understand the motives behind the actions of influential figures like Asad Owaisi, Syed Akhtar, and Abdul Rahim, and to hold them accountable for their roles in this ongoing saga.

If they disagree with my findings, they are welcome to challenge me in court, where the full extent of these truths can be further examined and validated. In 2015, when the land purchased by Heera Group of Companies became highly valuable within a few years, S.A. Builders wanted to reclaim it. However, the CEO of Heera Group refused to sell it back. In this matter, Syed Akhtar and Abdul Rahim contacted Asad Owaisi, a Member of Parliament. Asad Owaisi was already troubled by the losses in his banks’ branches in Darussalam due to public investments in Heera Group of Companies. Additionally, the political ambitions of Dr. Nowhera Shaikh, the CEO of Heera Group, posed a threat to Asad Owaisi’s family’s stronghold. Asad Owaisi had already witnessed a setback in his legal career as he had faced defeat against Heera Group in an FIR filed in 2012. Therefore, Asad Owaisi had not forgotten the sting of that defeat, as Heera Group of Companies had filed a defamation case against him, and losing that case meant a severe blow to his reputation. With the support of Syed Akhtar of S.A. Builders and his son-in-law Abdul Rahim, Asad Owaisi strengthened his resolve. The three of them, with the help of government officials, launched a covert attack on Heera Group. They used every trick to discredit the company, eventually getting the Heera Group CEO arrested and sent behind bars. After the arrest of the Heera Group CEO, Aalima Dr. Nowhera Shaikh, Asad Owaisi breathed a sigh of relief. He contested two Vidhan Sabha and two Lok Sabha elections, using the arrest of the Heera Group CEO to his advantage and achieved his goals. Meanwhile, S.A. Builders’ head, Abdul Rahim’s father-in-law, Syed Akhtar, the owner of S.A. Builders, started working on the lands in S.A. Colony, Tolichowki. They drove away all the Heera Group staff in S.A. Colony and began leasing out the vacant lands and initiating construction. S.A. Builders didn’t stop there; they built buildings and started selling flats.

On the other hand, Abdul Rahim, who is Syed Akhtar’s son-in-law, opened Al Saba Hotel, adding another restaurant to Tolichowki’s dining options. They also began leasing out lands to people and turned the remaining large plots into playgrounds, starting an academy, which is still running successfully today. Despite the Supreme Court directives, High Court orders, and detailed reports from the District Magistrate in favor of Heera Group of Companies, Syed Akhtar of S.A. Builders and his son-in-law Abdul Rahim, backed by Member of Parliament Asad Owaisi, do not consider these judicial orders as more than just pieces of paper. As a result, 3.5 million Muslims in the country had to suffer the loss of their livelihood. In summary, Heera Group CEO Aalima Dr. Nowhera Shaikh has resolutely declared her determination to focus the government’s attention on eradicating the land mafias in Hyderabad. She has vowed to bring to light all officers who have violated court orders, promising to take extreme measures if necessary. Dr. Nowhera Shaikh is prepared to stage a lifelong sit-in at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar until these court orders are enforced, aiming to capture the attention of senior government officials, agencies, and all legal institutions. Dr. Nowhera Shaikh has articulated her mission to expose every conspiracy involving Syed Akhtar, Asad Owaisi, and the complicit government officials who have collaborated against her and her company. She has emphasized the importance of clearing her name in the public domain, a reputation that these individuals have attempted, but ultimately failed, to tarnish. She is unwavering in her resolve to bring justice and accountability to those who have wronged her and her company. Moreover, Dr. Nowhera Shaikh expressed her unwavering faith in the judiciary and the country’s justice-oriented agencies and leaders, including government officials. She firmly believes that these entities will stand by her in her quest to restore Heera Group to its former glory. She trusts that the support she garners will not only vindicate her but also reinforce the strength and resilience of her company, which has been a significant pillar of strength for the nation. Dr. Nowhera Shaikh’s commitment is not just towards her personal vindication but also towards ensuring the stability and future of the countless investors and employees who have been affected by the actions of these conspirators. She is calling upon the nation’s leaders and the justice system to support her in rebuilding a company that has contributed immensely to the economic fabric of the country. Her ultimate goal is to see Heera Group thrive once again, benefiting all its stakeholders and continuing its legacy of growth and prosperity.
